At The Colman Schools, we believe that high quality art and design supports creativity and innovative thinking needed for contributing to the wider society as well as an appreciation of the world around us.

Children will have the opportunity to design and create art using a variety of techniques and tools. Children will learn about a variety of artists that include local, other localities and those of historical significance. Children will also learn the language of art and have a chance to evaluate art – both their own and others.
